Get pumped for the Houston Dynamo vs. Seattle Sounders leg two! Both teams are well matched , but let's be honest, the Dynamo cannot stop Zakuani on the wing and we will capitalize on the weight of away goals. Let's Go Sounders! In other news the Champion's League is shaping up to be a feast of the eyes with a spectacular duel for both Man U and Chelsea. What's this? EPL teams are in fact at par with Spanish and Italian league teams!?!? The world is an equal playing field, speaking of which the prospect of a world cup with Rooney vs. C. Ronaldo gets me ridiculously excited. Check out the tag on the side about both Rooney and Cristiano. These players have a beautiful way to play the Beautiful Game. Speaking of offense, I'm really interested to hear what you guys have to say about Liverpool's stars. Do they become something of a less-than-top-four team without Torres and Gerrard? This team still has so much talent without them, but have we ever seen them perform without those two? A loss to Aston Villa? Let's put the beach ball aside and say that you can't be England's top firm without some superstars.
One more thing to address. The slaughter of the Hotspurs a couple weeks back by Arsenal. Arsenal may not always have the most expensive team, but what they do with what they have is at the very least phenomenal. The four-nil defeat of the Hotspurs really showed the classifications of a top four team. Arsenal played a clean possession game creating a sense of desperation in the Tottenham players that they have not had to face frequently this year. I see thsi team finishing in a fift or lower situation, simply because of previous status. They're mentality within the game as to somewhat touch on the fact that they are rags to riches and points wise, they are fighting dynasties, whose powers have previously, continuously out-shined their own.
Bring the pain Man U. Rio, get your game together back there! I want a solid back four and a dangerous young front out of you guys!

Shaking Hands with Jamaica's Captain
Over the summer I was working for a marketing firm, and being an intern, I was sent to do personal promotions at the local Sam's Clubs. Super sweet job I know. For one day it was totally worth it. I was catching people on the way in to Sam's Club when in walks Tyrone Marshall! For those of you who need clarification, Tyrone Marshall is both the Captain of the Jamaican soccer team and our center defender for the Sounders. I was able to collect myself enough to walk up to him, shake his hand, and talk to him about how much I was in love with him. That day I was promoting DirecTV and once his wife saw my shirt, she commented that they have DirecTV and asked if they could get any kind of discount. I had to deny Tyrone Marshall and his family savings! I was heartbroken.

ATENTION ALL ONE UPPERS! Let's start some comments below this majestic picture of Mr. Marshall. Let me know about the coolest soccer player you've run into or seen live!

World Cup Qualifiers
This weekend we are going to see some extraordinary games with Portugal battling Hungary and our very own Team USA trying to stay atop Mexico with a duel versus Honduras. A big rivalry game will be fought between Denmark and Sweden. You know that Barcelona is good when we're seeing Ibrahimovic on the bench and he's considered the star player for the Swedes! I'm going to have to say, for the sake of this blog, I am going to be most interested in the first place England versus third place Ukraine. Will Rooney and Defoe tear it up? I think so. England has a Goals Against record of 3 in the last 8 games! Well happy viewing all!
